Commodore Hugh speaks on BBC Radio Shropshire

Colemere Sailing Club Commodore Hugh Farrington spoke about sailing and Colemere on Radio Shropshre this morning. If you missed it you should be able to get it from BBC Radio Shropshire website and “listen again” on catch up. Look for Jim Hawkins in the Morning 07/02/2013 and then if you just want to hear Hugh’s bit, it happens about 1hr 50 mins into the prog.

This http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p013sjkm might work in taking you to the programme.

Some comments from members who listened in:-

Hi Hugh

Just heard your interview on Radio Shropshire – brilliant, well done.  It has made me more determined than ever to get out and sail more this year!

Best wishes Felicity

Well done Hugh. I gave you a 10, and also to Jim Hawkins who summed it up at the end when he almost drooled about getting out, after a days work at the office and sailing on a warm summer’s Thursday evening with a following breeze. The reality may be different sometimes, but the picture he drew may well encourage more to have a go!

Best regards

John Styles
