We had a beautiful sunny day at Colemere on Sunday, the wind was very light (non existant at times) but we managed 2 races. Mark Arnold (with his son) and Richard Mansfield were Duty officers for the day and managed to make best use of any slight wind there was on the lake. Whilst the second race was in progress, I sailed my Laser Vago with Alan crewing. We had a very pleasant sail, managing to use the geneker (big blue spinaker thing) on more than one occasion.

Hi – nice pictures.
What Paul neglected to add to his report was that it was his Birthday (the big 60) and to celebrate he brought down beer and cakes for all sailing – very nice and very acceptable. The beer at lunch must have worked wonders ‘cos I sailed much better in the after lunch race!
Happy Birthday Paul!!
Yeah happy birthday Paul.
