YES, HE’s FINALLY been SNAPPED (with my digital camera) when he arrived at Colemere to rig and test-sail his RS Vision, last Saturday.
I helped (or was it hindered) Matt to rig his new acquisition. We only had to resort to the instruction manual a few times. Unfortunately there was very little wind so the boat didn’t actually touch the water, but it appeared to ‘sail’ very nicely with all 3 sails flying (main, jib and spinnaker) on dry land.
I sure we are all waiting eagerly to see Matt taking it through it’s paces on the ‘wet stuff’ and I don’t mean the dinghy park after heavy rain. Will we be able to say “He’s three sheets to the wind!”? I’m not sure if this would be technically correct, or not ?
Can I please have a ride in this Matt? Preferably in stupidly windy conditions! How does this compare with a Vago/L.2000 then?
