Races are organized on Sundays (March to December) and Thursday evenings (April to September). All members are encouraged to join in but these are certainly not compulsory.
Many just like to potter, enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the mere.
Just in case anyone decides to get more than their feet wet, the Club has a safety boat on duty on Sundays and Thursday evenings. This is operated by Club members on a rota basis.
