Felicity gets a Byte and the last 2 Autumn Sunday races

There was great excitement today at Colemere when a “new” boat was towed into the dinghy park by Ian & Felicity Ramage. It was Felicity’s single handed boat, a Byte, number 1230, purchased yesterday from Lichfield. After taking it out for test sail this morning, Felicity told me that she was very pleased with it and would be looking forward to racing it shortly.

Other things that happened today.

Only bay and capsize side of Colemere in light wind today.

It was the last 2 races in the Autumn series. First & Second in both races were Rob Sears & Hugh Farrington. Is it a coincidence that they both had brand new Solos this year ? Third was Steve Millington in the first race and Martin Cushing in the second.

Mark Arnold and son Owen ran the races and worked out the positions. I assisted.
