In the past there has always been a Pre-rigging party at the clubhouse the night before sailing started, but numbers attending this have been dwindling over recent years and it was decided to try a celebration of the Rigging Day on the Sunday (the actual first day of sailing) instead this year. As you can see from below, we are planning a bring and share lunch at about 1.00pm, when the first race of the year has been completed, and we will have a few fun things to do to pass the time in the clubhouse beforehand, whilst families and friends, and sailors not taking part, can also watch the race unfolding, by the warmth of the fire. We hope to see as many of you who can make it that day, so that we can start the new sailing season off with a bang.

1st race of the year starts at 12.00
Come and watch those brave souls who will be out on the water

ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN THINK OF!
THIS IS A BRING AND SHARE LUNCH. WE WILL PROVIDE SOME SOUP AND ROLLS AND SOFT DRINKS, BUT PLEASE BRING ALONG ANY FINGER FOOD TO ADD TO THE SPREAD.
In order to assist with planning, and to make sure not everyone brings sausage rolls, it would be great if you could let us know by SUNDAY 4th March – whether you hope to be there and what you will bring for the lunch.
