We’re three months (actually just over) into the 2025 sailing season and thought it might be interesting to let everybody know how things are going in terms of race results so far….

It’s pretty clear that the Laser sailors have been leading the way until now, but there’s plenty of time for the Solo’s and the various boats in the handicap fleet to spoil their private party!  Overall numbers of members racing this year have been on the low side, although it was great to have 10 boats on the water two Sundays ago, hopefully, we can repeat this regularly as the season progresses.  Even if the Lasers do continue to dominate, don’t forget that, in addition to the Summer and Autumn series, there are also the fleet trophies to compete for (Lasers, Solo’s and Handicap) so there are still opportunities for glory for all our members (not to mention the infamous swimming trophy!).

Hope to see you out on the water on Thursday evenings and on Sundays whether you’re racing or not.

    Thanks for letting us know, really interesting to see the ranking thus far. Those dastardly Lasers! Think the Solos need to hatch a cunning plan…. along with Pete in his Comet to get ahead in the Summer season, then all to fight for in the Autumn!
